Rome 14th October 2002, 1:00 pm: the most antique restaurant of the capital, which fundaments were built in the 14th century, reopens after three years of restoration.
The mediaeval building, which is owned by the municipality of Rome, has been restorated completely by the exclusive efforts of Gualtiero Marchesi and Vincenzo Nicastro.
The project of restoration, which was supervised by the authority of the protection of monuments of the municipality of Rome, was designed and managed by the architect Francesco Giuliano. For the furniture he chooses Poltrona Frau, considering the unique style and the exceptional quality and design of the products.

The Hostaria dell’Orso covers three floors, a piano-bar, the significant restaurant with its great view over the Tiber and at the last floor the exclusive discotheque, which is also utilizable for special events or a prestigious privèe.
In the Hostaria dell’Orso Gualtiero Marchesi presents his philosophy of cooking, from his historical dishes from “RISO ORO E ZAFFERANO”, “RAVIOLO APERTO”, “FILETTO ALLA ROSSINI SECONDO GUALTIERO MARCHESI” to a refined rethinking of the roman cuisine.
The restaurant is divided in 5 halls of diverse shapes and can hospitalize up to 100 guests.
